Headlight Amperage...Help!
Hello all,
I have a few questions about headlights. I know very little about how carts work, so here we go: I have an 88 CC that is 36V and I am looking into getting some LED headlights to replace the incandescent bulbs I have now. What kind of Amps can my cart handle without making it go Ka-put? I purchased a set of 12V 18 watt LED's that draw 1.2 amp each and I think they may be too much now that I am researching. Just as additional info, the cart has no other electronic do-dads or accessories, just lights w blinkers. Someone drop some knowledge on me, please! |

Re: Headlight Amperage...Help!
LEDs draw considerably less power than incandescent bulbs. Typically a headlamp would be 55 watts so an 18 watt LED will be fine.
