Advice on Charger
I have a 2007 Club Car Precedent with a Power Drive 2 charger. Everything is working so well on the cart I hate to change anything, but my charging situation is becoming a pain. When in use at the beach, my cart must be stored in the parking lot. If I charge over night, my charger stands a good chance of getting rained on (blowing rain if put in floorboard). Not to mentioned constantly getting the charger out of storage each day and worrying with taking it back and forth from the beach to my permanent residence.
With all of that being said, I think I want an on-board that will mount under the rear seat. I would like opinions and suggestions. I have posted a question before about an on-board charger recommendation and someone posted a link to a company, but I wasn't sure what charger I needed. If possible post charger model number or link and whether you think I should keep or bypass the OBC. Thanks for the help. |

Re: Advice on Charger
Sent him a message. Just my luck to miss out on that deal. Would you have to bypass the OBC with the Delta Q charger?

Re: Advice on Charger
I guess I've been lucky, I had a 96 and now my 02 and have never had an OBC problem.
I think I'm with Steve, it seems to work well, and I like the concept that it puts exactly the same amount of energy that was burned while the cart was being used. |
