Default 2009 club car precedent surging??

I have a 2009 club car precedent that started surging only when u depress the pedal until u get up to speed than it stops and runs fine!

So far I have checked the batteries and the controller and they both check out fine!
I have read about the mcor could be causing this but I don't know what the mcor is? Can someone please inform me?

Also what else should I be checking into ? Any help would be great!

I suspect that is the answer - > mcor. I understand they go out all the time for our year model of carts...I believe mine to be acting up very much like my first cart did. Will be interested to know if you replace or what your problem ends up being.

May want to also search this forum for MCOR - lots of talk with and without other Controllers.

I found these
http://www.evdrives.com/product_p/thr-mcor-prec.htm -> Out of stock(backorder)
http://www.golfcartpartsdirect.com/e...tshow/250.html -> nice pics not sure if avail
http://golf-cart-parts-now.com/index...roduct_id=2765 -> nice price

Maybe that will help.

So this is what Ive done so far,
I have another 2009 club car precedent so I tryed switching the following parts with no success,

MCOR
speed sensor
controller

After trying each one of these things separate it still is jerking off acceleration but seems to be fine when I get up to speed!
Also it does not go as fast as it used to and batteries die quick

What else can I try switching to figure out my problem? Could it be the solenoid?

Batteries? You put a volt meter on them before and during LOAD?

Test them end to end ~ 50.4 volts sounds good but under load will drop...mine drop to around 48, 47 and then a little lower when not topped off. So while testing end to end, put a full load by pressing the go pedal all the way down. I have installed a ScottyB meter which makes this a piece of cake for me. Not so sure how to pull that off if using a DVM as it sounds like you are doing. But that is the idea.

So after all it was a dead battery, one read 4.6 volts so I switched it with a spare battery I had and whala the cart does not surge anymore and has lots of power. Thanks for all the help!
