Default 2003 club car

I'm asking a question for my son in law. He has a 2003 club car 48 volt with 1 yr. old Trojan batteries. Has the run tow switch. His is jerking pretty bad when taking off and really at all speeds. I have a 2002 48 volt club car that I took to dealership last year for a similiar problem only mine was not taking off properly when I depressed the foot feed and would slow to a crawl after about 5 minutes. I told him they replaced the Mcor and the peddle linkeage rod on mine to fix that problem. I suggested to him it could be his Mcor but at the $150. he found one on line for he wants to be sure that's what it is...any suggestions as his problem is a bit different from what I had. IDK...if the aggresive jerking it does would be a Mcor issue or not...

. . . first thing I would do is to load test all batteries and check the SG of all the cells . . .

I will have to ask him and see if he did that...my guess is No as it sits at his place down south during the week and when he's there he's working on his property so probably didn't have the time. I will get back to you. thanks for your reply

Also check all cable connections even to motor solenoid, and controller as well as batteries.
