Default New to me golf cart will not move. What is it?

Hey guys new to the golf cart world. Picked this up with no charger or batteries. Put some batteries in and it ran great for awhile so I ordered a charger from ScottyB. I think the problem is the boy, he drove it like he stole it. He was out riding it and comes back says it wont run no more. I looked at it found a green/white wire cut through from the battery I spliced it back to gather with no luck I have been reading as many post as I can find but the problem is I don't know what it is. All I know is it is 48v.

I think in the process I killed the solenoid it used to click when I turned the key on but not no more and there is no voltage on the output. Other than that I do not know where to start. Was trying to test the controller but I can not find a diagram for this I looked.

Added some pics hope that helps someone because it doesn't help me.

PS there is no model# I called club car they transferred me to a some what local dealer who was no help

Thanks

Ya I was trying to figure that out. There is no tow/run switch and the post on the motor all look the same size and there are speed sensor wires on the back of the motor.

Have you checked battery voltage of each battery? If not do so and put charger on see if it comes on and starts charges

I agree with that. However, with the year 2000 date code on the controller it's somewhat of a mystery. I believe the Regen1 controller was still available for order in 2000. I don't think the conversion kit came out until a few years later. That was such a long time ago I can't remember.

Can you take some more pictures of the wiring? The Regen1 to Regen2 conversion kit has a conversion plug for the factory wire harness to adapt to the regen 2 adapter. The adapter is about a foot long. Follow your wiring from the controller pin-plug and see if it just runs down into the harness or if there's an adapter there.

Batteries are new and charged.

The plug from the controller dose not have a pig tail from what I remember last night but will double check tonight. These are the pic I have with me will take some more when I get home tonight. just let me know of what. I know this is hard to troubleshoot with out seeing in person and I appreciate the help
