Wiring help please.....
Are their any other wiring diagrams for a 89 CC VGlide [non-controller] one, rather than the one in the sticky? Im replacing the F&R switch, solenoid, VGlide assembley, building a complete set of 2 gauge cables, replacing the resistors and upgrading the 4th and 5th speed with the (high speed) HD versions. Also getting the motor reworked by plum quick into their Bandit series. Im doing to much at once and lost track of 2 wires, lol. I took pictures and made a half *** diagram but...I still can find these 2?
First one is the small red wire coming from the micro switch in the new vglide. The green one goes to a small lug on the solenoid, no idea on the red one. Second is the heavier red wire coming from the top of the back of the charging plug. It's short so I believe it has to go to a lug on the F&R switch, but which one? Thanks guys for any help or a couple other diagrams where I can see these 2 wires. Ive been impressed with this cart thus far. In factory form other than wheels/tires 215/40/10 [I think they are] it runs well and much faster than I thought it would be. 18-19 on flat ground and easily 23mph on a very slight down hill grade. Last week I made all the battery to battery cables out of 2 gauge and def. noticed a good increase in torque. It spins the tires a ton now in gravel and it wouldn't before. Im now doing every cable on the cart other than the blue, green, orange, and yellow in the vglide itself. I replaced the bottom white on that goes to the first speed resistor. And one from that bottom lug back to the solenoid. Is there any secrets to building or available upgraded VGlide cables to purchase (the small ones that are so **** close to each other). I think I have enough room to build just the top (Black) one if I break the small plastic divider I think I can squeeze a 4 gauge in there but defiantly not 2 gauge like all the rest. Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for any help or advise. Ryan |

Re: Wiring help please.....
I have 2 Club Cars both 36V V-Gluides....followed this diagram for repair to ignition switch's loose RED wire on the '93 model. My 1990 has the wire going into the V-Gluide (it is working great)....while the 93 was the one with the loose RED wire from the ignition switch. Followed this diagram to connect terminal below F/R assembly...promptly burning the wire off. The junction of those three RED wires below the F/R......ignition, bat positive and fuse/receptacle . My question is between the 90 and 93 models ignition wiring connections different? Thanking you in advance

36v v-glide, 36v v-glide w/controller & 48v v-glide if it is the 36v controller model then the key switch wires do go to v-glide and solenoid the 90 non controller both wires go to f/r switch red to switch and blue to micro switch be sure you are using the correct diagram !!!! |

Re: Wiring help please.....
Where I got messed up was deleting the rev buzzer while replacing every other elect. component in the cart and lost track. A white and orange wire got deleted with the buzzer, and once all the parts were replaced it didn't run. After seeing this diagram, I noticed I had only 2 red wires on that bottom lft lug of the F&R switch. I then traced the red from the key switch and tied it in with the orange wire coming off the top of the charge connector lug. Ive still not fiqured out how I lost my hot or line side of the key switch but I did, it runs great now. All wires are 2 gauge, replaced the F&R, solenoid, V Glide assembely, and did new resistors, even found HD upgrades for the 4th and 5th speed. Wired reverse for 36v while I was in there, the cart really performs well now. Impressed with the torque and speed for what it is. It spins the tires like crazy now in dirt, rocks, gravel, etc... and will climb the backside of our tank **** wich is crazy steep from a stand still at the bottom of it. Id say its 35-45* up for 25 feet or so, It bound now by traction not torque. Im going to run it for another week then send the motor off to plum quick for a simple bandit upgrade. It runs 23mph now on flat ground with 215/40/10.

Re: Wiring help please.....
Something I still don't get though, look at that diagram and follow the orange and white wires going through the buzzer. I thought the simplest way was going to tie the orange back into the solenoid direct, but it popped like a direct short?
