1984 Club Car, won't run
New batteries, cables, and some new wiring, won't run at all. Only hear one loud click when key on and pedal depressed in F and R.

Re: 1984 Club Car, won't run
Is this a five solenoid model or the model with one solenoid and several resistor coils? Also, I know it sounds dumb, but are all the batteries installed in the correct polarity, and is all the new wiring installed correctly with all connections tight? I've had batteries in backwards more than once, and I've also hooked up wires wrong before, and I seem to ALWAYS forget to tighten something.
There are diagrams in the stickies above in this section, make sure things check out with the diagram for your cart, and as the doctor would say, if the problem persists check back in! Also, Welcome to BGW!! |

It's the 5 solenoid model.....I double checked all connections and battery polarity as well. I actually used the diagram from the stickies to install the batteries.
