Default Slow Speed from a DS

I have a Club car Ds and I can only get about 15 mph out of it, I ordered one of those so called "speed magnet" and it did not make any differance. Any suggestions?

It is a 2006 DS with a 6" lift and 23" tires, I have 3 set up the same and only this one here is a "pooch" (slow).

Have you tried the speed sensor test? It's posted on a sticky above.

Could it be that the controller is set on code 3?
Did it used to be fast then suddenly slowed down?

MCOR stands for motor controller output regulator. It is the throttle box located on the passenger side under the cart.
Check where the rod from the accelerator pedal goes into it. If it is loose and there is play in it, you may not be getting 100% throttle going to the motor.

Like Jake said...did it use to start fast and now only goes slow? Still wondering if you tried the Speed Sensor Test posted on the sticky above. The more the info the better the results!
