2008 DS IQ Just stopped running?

A friend has a 2008 DS IQ, he was driving it in his neighborhood, it quit and hasn't worked since.
He thought it was the solenoid so replaced it, still wont go. Had a friend (electrician) check out the controller thought it was bad so he mailed it to a rebuild center, they checked it out and said nothing was wrong with it. the only modification to the cart is a hi speed motor from plum quick. Any thoughts?

I would start by checking all wire connections, making sure nothing is loose, burnt, melted, etc.
