Tom can probably testify to this but, when one goes out the rest are not far behind. They are 20 plus years old and have seen a lot of heat and vibration.

scotty you are so right.......if i were doing it i would them all at the same time and be done with it........the others will follow........at this point either 2 or maybe even 3 are bad so its not much more but will save another breakdown......when i run into this i always explain and try and talk the customer into replacing them all to save them another labor cost......................

resistor coils are all ok not broken or touching
I have no problem changing all the solenoids but whats odd to me is its throwing me backwards in the first position of the peddle. if the first and second solenoids were bad wouldn't it do nothing until the peddle reached the fourth position (against the floor) to take off
once again you guy are awsome and so is this site thanks for all your help

I can't explain the reason why but they do this. They just skip over whatever speed is not working and go to the next. So a common complaint is the cart just takes off! There is no going slow....
There is a micro switch for each solenoid in the accelerator speed control box. You have determined that each solenoid is getting juice in sequential order?

OR......you can go this route........
Club Car V-glide, F&R, & Solenoid 4 $100

thats the whole idea, man if i were getting paid for this i,d be rich but its nice to try and help members save time and money and even doing more damage to their carts.............i have seen that way to many times........your doing the right think by doing them all at once and the ones you know are good mark them and save them might come in handy down the road sometime.................................
