you did say you checked all the micro switches right? and you checked all the small wires from the solenoids? theres nothing else in that system so we are overlooking something...........ok all solenoids new...........if you still have the rear jacked up if not jack it up.......key on and in forward, you should hear a faint click than the louder click thats the master micro and solenoid than you should hear a 2nd faint click followed by a louder one thats 1st speed and at that point the wheels should slowly turn....there should be 5 micro switch clicks each one followed by a solenoid click............the best way to do this i think is once your all ready before you turn the key on just slowly press the pedal and listen for 5 faint clicks if you hear all 5 than turn key on and proceed...........the only other thing i can think of is the speed switch slide its located in the box where the micro switchs are and if its worn out that would cause it.......at this point since you put all new solenoids on and the resistors and buss bar are ok.......the buss bar is there right? the brass strip that bolts to all the solenoids.........i would go right to the speed box open it up make sure the slide is good make sure all connections are on and good and double check the micro switches your problem has to be there, let me know what you find................................

My cart was a 94 v glide. When I had this issue the wire going to the resistor coils was burnt out and not making contact. Different style, but could it be similar problem?

I found it !!!! you were right when i checked the micro switches i checked to see if they all had power at there respected peddle position what i neglected to check is if they didn't have power when they were not suppose to.. the number four micro switch was faulty and in the on position all the time so when i activated the master solenoid it would go straight to 4th gear. new micro switch has been ordered and hopefully that will be the end of repairs for a wile. i will let you know for sure when the switch comes in

Excellent job of diagnostics!!!! As you now know it is not a simple system...Glad you found the defective part and hope you keep extra micros and solenoids on hand for the future....It will never be as hard as the first time.....
Did I print that?
