2008 club car precedent 48volt batteries
Just need to get new batteries for my club car and I priced some at my Lordco my local parts store, and was wondering do u have to have a special battery?
These batteries are AC Delco and are a deep cycle battery and come with 2 year warranty for $150 which is way cheaper than anywhere else I priced!
Will these batteries work? they measure exactly the same as the ones coming out of the cart!

Re: 2008 club car precedent 48volt batteries
You need golf cart batteries, not auto parts store boat (deep cycle) batteries. Yes golf cart batteries are deep cycle batteries but they are designed to a specific standard that marine batteries can't meet. You are likely looking at $150 per battery than that much for an entire set. Or were you quoting a per battery price? I've never heard of a cart battery under the AC Delco name. I've seen Trojans for near that price. The lowest I've seen Trojan 12v's for is $152 each. I bought mine for $169 each because the cheaper ones were too far away.
