Default Cart wants to go with key off.

I just got a 36V, not sure what year it is but by searching thru the wiring diagrams the one that matches my cart is the " 88 to 03 with v drive ".
The first problem was that the battery charger would not work, I soon learned thru this forum that when voltage is below 28v the charger will not energize. I seperated the batteries into 12v groups and charged them. Now the charger works. The problem that I am having now is that the cart will try to move whenever the F_N_R_ switch is moved from N to F or N to R without the key in the on position. Does this mean that the solonoid is stuck in the closed position? or the key switch is stuck closed? or what?
Any help will be appreciated

Could be the pedal is stuck partially down. Try to pull the pedal all the way back by hand and see if that helps. May needs some lubrication on the pedal. Look for the serial # just under the dash and let us know what it is so we can further help. And yes it could be the solenoid is stuck also.

Thanks for the replies... I tried the GO pedal and it was not sticking. I pulled the cover off the V drive and cleaned the contact surfaces with crocus cloth, they were realy nasty. After that it still wanted to go with the key off. I disconnected the batteries and rapped on the solonoid reconnected the batteries and it worked. I will order a new solonoid.
