ok ... wireing looks correct
it's time to check the mico switches
start with the one on the f/r controlled
disconnect the batteries and move the f/r arm back and forth you should here a click from the micro switch each way
if not then remove it and see if bar stays up off switch .. if not replace it

the ones in the box will be harder to hear but removeing the end cap will help
slowly press gas pedel and count clicks .. you should here 5 clicks // of not then one or more are bad and you will need to remove them and replace the bad nes .. i replaced all of them to be sure

Think this site is great....could anyone give me a heads-up on the wiring for the ignition switch on a 93 36 V V-Gluide Club Car....found a post on here (with wiring color coded diagram) had the red wire going into the F/R lower left post along with the bat red and the receptacle (showed 3 red into F/R) tried this diagram for the red ignition lead and fried the ignition red wire. I have a 90 model ( ds V-Gluide 36V ) also...the RED ignition wire goes into the receptacle. Both are resistor carts with v-gluides and single solenoids. What is the proper ignition wire sequences?? Currently trouble shooting the 93 as it has similar problems as grandpa1.....trying to get all hooked up right...in order to start the process. Thanking you in advance for any help...the blue ignition wire goes into to the micro on the F/R on both carts. Thanking you in advance for any support...

Your main solenoid , the one closest to the driver side of cart, is most likely welded shut not open

Domeone has changed a lot of the wires. The main solenoid appears to wired correctly. The black wire on the left solenoid, which is the top speed one, is normally white and comes from the F/R switch. Change the main solenoid
