Default 01/ v-glide/ resistors

hey, thanks for all the warm welcomes, been workin on the cart, got everything cleaned, waitin on the solenoid, i think that will do it. the question i have is about the charger. it is a lester 36v, i'm wondering how do i know if the batteries are charged with this. it has a amp meter on it, i'm thinking this one won't cut off by itself, am i right?? please tell me how it works!!
i have read the resistors are'nt the best controllers, any ideas?? new to the carts. thanks for all the great info!!!

if the charger dosn,t have a timer knob its automatic and will shut off when batteries are charged............................

hey, thanks for the reply. my charger does have a timer, but how do i know how long to charge it. does the meter on the charger tell the charge?

if you ride it for 1/2 hour charge it 8 to 12 hours........if you can you might want to think about updating charger it takes all the guesswork out of it............
