You can. Sure. I would recommend jacking the rear end up if possible. When that switch is jumped the solenoid should click instantly. I say jack it up just in case so it does not drive off on you if there is other issues you are not aware of yet.

Thanks to Storm S for the FIX. I replaced the limit switch in the V-Glide.
$2.89 part, so I just bought a new one and replaced it rather than trying
to jump it. Works fine now. You guys on this forum are great. This is the
4th time I have repaired a cart just using your advice.
