Default missing 1st speed

Recently Aquired A 1980 C C Not Running,they Had Installed A Newer Rnf Control 83 And Up .i Found Wiring Diagrham To Switch Wiring And Did So But Am Missing Slow Or Creep Speed Making Cart Jump When Taking Off Replaced 1st Solnoid With New One. Same Problem Solnoid Clicks But No Power On Large Termials Untill 2nd Solnoid Clicks In.all Micro Switches Checks O.k. Also Is Ign. Switch Postive Or Neg. Can Find No Reference To 1980 Cars Only 75 To 79 Or 81 T0 83. Any Ideas?

If its a 5 sol cart, the first one is just a master and wont apply power to the motor. In other words, you only have 4 speed sol starting with the second one.. I think thats what your after?

yes cuz is right you replaced the master so put the one you took off next to it and see what happens......depending on how bad the jerk is its possible you have more than one bad one............................

Thanks For This Info. I Think I Will Take A Closter Look At The Resistors ,one Was Broken And Welded Back,this May Account For The Jerky Takeoff.

thats possible so you,ll need to replace it with an exact match...........

Thanks Tom,i Tested Each Solnoid They All Tested Fine,even The One I Replaced With A New One.

how about the micro switches? follow the small wires from solenoids they will lead you to the micros.............................

Have Tested All Micro Switches ,they As They Should.
