brake drum will not go on.
Have a Club Car here that had brakes so worn out they were metal on metal. replaced the shoes, and got new drums, but now I can't get the new drum back on. I have backed off the adjustment all the way, and everything appears to be in it's correct configuration but this cart is not cooperating. Anyone run into this before?

Re: brake drum will not go on.
Never mind. I didn't realize that the leading shoe was a different size then the trailing shoe, and had the two trailing shoes on one side, making the assembly fatter then the drum would allow. All wrapped up and stopping on dimes now.

What year is your Club Car? On my '87 the shoes are both the same size. Just curious.
