Default 98 ds wont move

replaced 3 batteries, charger wont kick on, and when we go to move the cart, it clicks when you first push the pedal down, but then as it starts to slowly roll, it clicks again and stops.. i searched for other threads, but no success. any help or an idea where to go with this?

Sounds like very low pack voltage. Have you checked that yet?

WAY to low. You will have to bypass your OBC in order for the charger to kick on and then when the voltage comes back up to a good number you will have to take the bypass out and put it back the way it should be.

I would think you need to charge the low batteries one at a time to get them up to normal then hook up the cart charger. The bypass my over charge some of the batteries, that is what I have read on this website. ( good place to learn about carts )

I have a charger that I got several years ago that automatically know the correct voltage for the battery. Guess I was not thinking everyone may not have one.

Most smart chargers these days look for 6 or 12 for motor cycles, jetskis, lawn mowers, and cars/trucks. lol

Geez, yeah you gotta get that pack charged!
Also it's best (and cost effective) to replace the entire pack at once, as the old batts will bring down the new batts...
Maybe CTD will post his do at your own risk OBC bypass diagram...
