Default question about my club car

took it to the shop to get new batteries to find out the obc is out. he said I can get a new one or get a new charger that has a maintainer and he can by pass the obc. he said the new obc installed would be 354. but I could trade in my old charger and he could get me the new charger and by pass the obc for 375. does all this sound about right? I don't know enough about them yet.

Yes you could find parts for less but the price he showed includes labor and warranty. You could save about $150 DIY and warranty your own work

for sure do away with the OBC and get a stand alone charger for around 300 or so here http://www.cartsunlimited.net/48v_Battery_Charger.html

now if you just have to replace the OBC, I have a used one from an 02 club car DS, let me know.
