Default 2007 48 volt iq ds very short run time

I have a 2007 Club car 48 volt DS IQ and the run time is very short. New US batteries last year. Had the cart along with the charger and batteries checked by a local service shop and they said that everything is good. Cart will run for 10-15 minutes and is dead. The battery warning light comes on flashes once and then the cart is dead. Any help would be appreciated.

. . . usually the battery warning light illuminates during operation to indicate a low battery condition . . . when you took batteries to shop, how did they test them? Did they check the SG of each individual cell? Sounds like you may have some bad one(s) . . .

They checked the S/G and load tested them also. When the light comes on it only flashes on time and that is it.

Welcome to BGW

you say 10-15 minutes and it is dead, what is the battery pack volts when you say it's dead, when you say dead, does this mean that the cart will not move/do anything?, or does it run slow/like 2 MPH??

Take the pack voltage. New batteries can have bad cells. It happened to me once.

I tried 2 different chargers to make sure that the charger was not the problem. The batteries are US Battery 12V XC. The post has a E1 on it, I assume that they were made in May of 2011. The dealer installed them in March of 2012. The pack voltage is 48.2 volts. I tried to check the specific gravity and it won't register on the refractometer. When I had the service guy check them he said that they were 95% and needed to be charged and discharged several times to get the optimal preformance. That was about 3 months ago. Is it possible that all 4 batteries would go at the same time?
