Default Charging 36v CC with ezgo charger

My brother dropped off a 79 CC 5 solenoid 36v cart for me to try to get to work BUT with dead batteries> My question to you wise people can I use a ezgo charger (SB50 end) 36v to charger this cart (with crow foot receptacle) if I by pass receptacle and hard wire it to the pos and neg cables?

I use a charger plug with 10 gauge lead wires to charge packs that are out of the cart. No reason you can't do this as long as you use short heavy wire like (10ga). 36v is 36v You can also use a 12v car type charger on 2 of the 6v batteries at a time......

Technically he could use a car 12v charger on all 6 at a time, if he wanted to rewire temporarily (series each pair of batteries for 12v, and then parallel all 3 pair). It'll be a slow charge, but at least they're all getting done at the same time that way.

Easier to just use a short "adapter" cable from the charger to the entire pack though, and probably safer overall.
