I just bought the passenger side brake cable for $36 and took care of it. So easy to do, and only about 5mins to install.

There's cheap and easy fixes for lots of applications. It doesn't make them the best fix.

I did the flip and for some reason my brakes really don't work and they are hard to press

That shouldn't happen. Was your installation on a Club Car Precedent with a 6 inch All-Sports lift kit and heavy duty springs? That's what this write-up is for. Anything else may require a different approach.

Club car ds 6" all sports lift. I think I screwed up when I was taking off the drums too much wd 40. Is there a brake adjustment thread?

Post pics of your install. A DS and Precedent rear are the same, but a DS doesn't require the brake flip. However, it definitely won't hurt you to do it. Let me know what year your DS is and I'll tell you how to properly adjust the brakes. Start a new thread for it. Let's not clutter up the "sticky"

Your spring retaining plates are upside down and should be under the spring. Not above. I posted photos of my install on page 1.
