I'll try a smaller pair, the larger ones wouldn't fit inside the area around the bolt.

I was planning on doing an aftermarket steering wheel, which is the main reason I needed to get the old steering wheel off. I appreciate the offer. Did you still need those wheels/tires?

Sounds good bud.

Got the wheel off I ended up hammering a 3/4" socket on to the bolt, pipe on the ratchet and the bolt came off. Sludge hammer around the center of the steering wheel and it popped off. Took all of 20 minutes, 1/4 of a can of penetrating oil and the sacrifice of a cheap socket I had as a back up but it would have taken me longer to go the parts store and cost me way more to get the bolt remover set.

. . . great . . basically, that is what the extractor set does, but at a higher cost . . now we await pics of the new wheel . . .

Hopefully I can order it today. I have to find a place to get wheel adapters/spacer for the rear axles, so I know what wheels I can use and then I can try to match the steering wheel to the actual wheels.
