Re: Bad V glide wiper witch?
Are you sure it has a v-glide and not a pot box? V-glide is in between batteries on drivers side and is shaped like a piece of pie and pot box is directly under go pedal under cart...

Re: Bad V glide wiper witch?
OC,
Can you please expand on your problem? Your initial post is a bit cryptic. You have hesitation, but it runs? (after you let up and press the GO peddle the second time?) Can't understand your symptoms as described. Thanks, and welcome to BGW! |

Re: Bad V glide wiper witch?
Thanks for help. Believe it is V Glide (Pie shaped black box on driver side in front of batteries).
Put it in forward, push down accelerator, takes off. When accelerator is depressed all the way it just quits. Let up and it goes again. Itis like it loses contact at a certain point of accelerator pedal. I thought maybe some contact was broken or burnt. |

Re: Bad V glide wiper witch?
You have power at all speeds except Wide Open Throttle (WOT)? You have a V-glide which has resistors on the back? Sounds like the high speed resistor has gone out (the last resistor at the top of the V-Glide). Believe it to be the 2200 Ohms Resistor, Part # 101826904. I would try replacing that (approx $10-12) and see if that clears your problem. Remember to disconnect main battery pack + and - cables before doing ANY electrical work.
