Default Another jerking cart

I've got a 2006 CC Precident that's jerking at all speeds, forward and reverse.
No clicking noises that I can hear. It's not a major jerk, but I'm sure it's not good for the motor. The motor part number is EJ4-001 if that helps. There's also a motor controller, DCX Nivel 594 down there.
One guy told me it sounds like it could be the speed sensor.
Thoughts????

Welcome to BGW. Yes, step 1 is to do a speed sensor test (stickies) and let us know what happens.

Thanks for your reply. I'm new to the cart world, so where exactly is the sensor located, and how do I test it??

Basically you just drive the cart to a slope, then leaving the cart on and in forward let off the brake so it free rolls forward. The cart should slow down and start beeping if the speed sensor is working correctly.
The sensor is mounted on the end of the motor.

Thanks for the help. I'll try first thing in the morning.
Is the beep different from the reverse beep? Because mine doesn't make any noise in reverse..

Yes the beep is not constant like in reverse, but rather quick short beeps.
BUT it sounds like yours has been disconnected behind the dash since it doesn't sound in reverse. You can pull the dash and look behind to see if both wires are going to the buzzer...

Hooked up buzzer this morning and put cart in reverse to make sure beeper was working, and it was. Got on a slope with key on and cart in forward. Let off brakes and away I went!!! No beeps or braking sensation from motor.
Is it time to order a speed sensor?
Thanks....

Ok, since it did nothing, then yes, replace the speed sensor...
I have never replaced one, but I hear it's easy- just two screws at the end of the motor.

To get to the sensor, take the right rear wheel off. 2 small screws on the end of the motor.
