Default Short run time on lifted ds

Hey guys, I have a 2005 club cart ds with alltraxinc dcx500 d&d 11 hp motor upgraded wires. Also has 6 inch lift with 23 in swamp fixed tires. I put all this and 6 brand new 8v interstate golf cart batteries in 1.5 years ago .. My run time has never been very good ( we are talking about 2.5 miles on flat ground till I'm at the blinking 30% mark on my meter on flat ground). My friend just built almost the same cart and gets way better run time so now I'm trying to find the problem ... I stopped at a cart place and a guy sucked water for
Each cell and watched the ball float up and said all my cells were good( the cart was only at 50% charge) then he said all my cells were fine .. Also he checked the volts and all them were good he said. A few weeks ago I charged it up and tested each voltage under a load ( holding disc brakes and giving throttle and each battery dropped to about 7.6 .. I'm out of ideAs I will take any measurements or run any tests you guys request to help get this figured out! Thanks a lot guys!

I have a feeling you are under charging your batts , what is your pack voltage
After the charger shuts off , (during full charge it can take to 12 or more hrs to
Charge new batts.) wait for at least 12 hrs after charger shuts off to measure voltage .

You need to have that pack voltage to be 51.2 volts after 12 hrs of rest

Also Club Carr carts seems to have OBC issues , which could be effecting the batts .

Since you mentioned upgraded cables, there should be a single cable from the pack negative thru the OBC to the controller. All other negative connections (lights, voltage reducers, etc) should be made to the controller side of the connection.

I have upgraded my cables and left the old cable through the OBC, and it works fine as current takes the easiest path this would not be an issue on any cart.
