Typically - if you had one "brutally bad" battery, and five decent ones; I think the good five batteries would be overcharged (6.5 volts or greater) shortly after the end of a normal charge cycle. And at worst would be 6.15 to 6.25 volts or so; after 12hrs of rest.

If they are at 5.75v after resting for 12hr...I'm afraid you have a whole bunch of bad batteries.

Hey Crash!
I'm looking for a set of five 12/20 (12v 20ah) batteries (for an e-bike project)... Does this fellow sell batteries like this, or only golf cart batteries?

I just started here, so I assume that because I haven't posted yet (other than this one), that I cannot PM you. Could you send me the info as well?

I just purchased a 98 CC and am having battery issues. I put a 12v charger across 2 batteries at a time and let them charge for a few minutes but the first one in the series trips the charger. #2 & #3 charge fine but #1 & #2 trip the charger. I figured I would try to replace the one in the hopes that I could get this dead cart running before dumping a bunch of money on a new set.

Also, I talked to place yesterday who said they had a set of Trojans out of a cart they just got in. The date stamp on them was Feb 2013. They would sell me the set for $350. Good deal?

I didn't expect to have to buy batteries so soon, so anywhere I can save a few bucks would sure help.

Thanks
