Mine is used for hunting and general farm use. I just don't want all that noise every time the cart is put in reverse. I am even thinking about putting a green pilot light for forward too.

For what its worth, I have all the buzzers unhooked on mine, its the first mod I do on any cart I get. They're all driven by responsible adults, however. When the younger cousins are around I hook up the buzzer on any cart they might use.

Bottom line: For senior citizens (My Grandpa is 83, reverse buzzer definitely hooked up on his cart) and younger kids, keep it hooked up! For the responsible and attentive folk, you can unhook it if it annoys you.
