Default will a higher amp Controller and large wire help

98 club cart / series / batteries 8 months / "Bandit" motor / stock wheel / stock wires / stock r-f switch / .....Hearing mixed answers ...looking to get a little more uphill power..... upgrade wire so controller does not overheat "SURE"...400 or 500 controller make more pull up hill..????? want it lift and add larger tires at years end...

Sure a higher amperage controller will help with torque and upgrading the wires will let that power flow through the system...
I'm not sure how the Bandit will do, I think that is mainly a speed motor...

PQ web site says you will see an approx 25% increase in speed and torque from the Bandit only upgrade. Did you? Jakesnake27 is correct. If you're going to go with bigger tires, 500-700 amp controller and larger gauge cables is a must to maintain/increase torque. Check with ScottyB or other sponsors as to what they say.

Yes there was an increase in speed 30% over stock ...Uphill climb about 10%...

Will only help with torque, not speed.
