Default Resetting OBC

Would resetting the OBC on a 2006 Precedent make the charger start working, changed charger relay and rectifier but charger will not start, relay does not close. Can bypass relay and charger will work.

It sounds like the relay is still bad...
Resetting the OBC can fix charging problems, but it rarely happens.
They sell repair kits for chargers that include the relay, rectifier, and breaker. I was having charging problems once and the repair kit fixed it.

Do you have another cart you could try your charger on? This could be a bad OBC...

I'd check the interconnect cable with an ohm meter. As much as the cable gets pulled and twisted and abused, it would be a good thing to check next.

Had the same problem with my 03 DS. It was the fuse with the clear plastic cover that is behind the F/R switch.

As it was already said, check the fuse on the sense wire first.
If the fuse is OK, disconnect the fuse holder and place a wire from the pack negative to the charger receptacle side of the fuse. Make sure the fuse holder side that goes to the OBC is left disconnected, do not place voltage directly on that side or You will damage the OBC. If the charger relay does not click, the problem is with the plug/receptacle or the wire from there to the charger relay.
If the relay clicks, and the fuse was OK, the OBC is bad.

Checked the sensor wire, no fuse holder found. Will it damage the obcr to just bypass the charger relay, and manually charge the batteries. voltage meter on the charger will work just won't kick charger off.

There should be a rubber boot where the grey wire connects to the OBC, if you pull that boot off, you will see a regular spade connector. Just disconnect the connector there and do the tests.
Bypassing the charger relay will be ok short term as long as you are keeping an eye on the charger, but not a good idea if you forget it on.
