cutting out at full throttle
1998 48 volt club car is cutting out when i press accelerator to the floor.Batteries at full power.

Could be a faulty MCOR.
Have you done a speed sensor test yet? If not, look above in the stickies... And welcome to BGW! |

Is this photo (cart underside) showing the linkage for a V-glide or a pot box? Its from a '97 DS (this thread) where the owner was not getting full throttle throw. Not the same issue as this current thread of course, but maybe the same hardware with a different failure?

Whats the difference between a V-glide & MCOR? Would I still do the same speed test in the sticky for both?Thanks for the replies

By the way,My cart is a 97 DS 48 volt,Not a 1998.Where in the battery compartment is the v-glide located?Thanks for everyone's replies.

V-glide would be on the driver's side frame rail under the seat between the driver's side two and middle two batteries. Looks like a pie/wedge-shaped black plastic box.
