Well most here would say ditch the 4 12s and get 6 8's (or 8 6's for the max run time).......as for brand , Trojans and Crown top the list or US ......really depends on what is AVAILABE to you in you area or how far your willing to drive.......

I have world wide batteries, they are four and a half years old. I can play 45 holes of golf and still be well above half charge left. Very pleased with them. I think they are made by Trojan.

Is that with the conversion or with the 4 12v batts?? I play golf but my cart is lifted with bigger tires.

If you are asking me. I have 6-8 volts. They are what my cart came out with.

Mine has 4 12v and until lately I have had no trouble. I have us batts and a friend has the same cart with Trojans and they are day and night different. Not sure which way to go here. Have no problem making more batts fit just don't wanna shoot myself in the foot with changing up

I had 4 12's with Trojans and it sucked. Did conversion and works great. Read that thread.

If you can afford it , do the 8-6 volt conversion for ultimate run -time
