Anyway, back to it, just for the fun of my questions, why would Scotty's charger be better?

The cart won't (or shouldn't) run with the charger plugged in.
All PD chargers are 100% compatible... (PD 1-3)
You can charge an old cart with a PD3 and a new cart with a PD1...
The OBC system is the optimal charging system when functioning correctly, but Scottyb's DPIs are a very close second...

Any charger that eliminates the dreaded Club Car OBC is instantly better.

no it should not run when plugged in

reminds me of a cop who was on emergency phone in an elevator and stepped out to look down the hall , doors closed and phone handle rose to ceiling and then dropped to floor with cord cut in half

OK, and thank you, but I swear I have seen y'all worrying folks because their charger would not bring the batteries to full charge and I want to be sure I won't be in that group of folks.

So, why did they quit making a I to make a II and then the III?

And again, although I am sure its the same answer, will they all work on a 4 12V system.

And back to another issue, my son parked the cart in front of my beer cooler. This day just got worse again.

Y'all post some answers by the time I get back. My buddy also wants to trade a 38 for one of my 380's. I'm going to talk to him about that and get the charger.
