. . . I believe the Club Car OEM # 1018006-06 is the correct one . . . but double check with dealer/supplier before ordering . . .

Yeah try to grab a used one somewhere. EBay, craigslist, want ad in for sale section on here, etc.

I'm using a power drive 3 charger #26580 from 2009 , is it possible that my 16705 obc is not compatable with my charger? I know my charger charges my friends 2000? Club car president! Just a thought before I go crazy and get one! Thanks

That is certainly where an obc belongs, a junk yard. DPI charger is an option.

The PD2 and PD3 chargers are interchangeable... as long as the OBC had the correct connector for your harness, it should work.
Make sure the OBC harness is plugged in firmly (just in case).
Disconnect the DC charger plug from the cart.
Put your voltmeter (200Vdc) with the red on the pack positive and the black on the gray wire going to the OBC. It should read 48Vdc.
If you don't get 48Vdc and the OBC is properly plugged, its activation circuit is shot.
