Default Re: 2004 Precedent IQ Speed Enhancement

Not sure if PonchoM has done his upgrades but I recently upgraded my Dad's 2000.5 CC DS with the EMP motors. I opted for ordering the new motor and then keeping my old original motor, however after doing the upgrade I might just go ahead and send in the original for the $100 refund. As far as performance goes, the two speed setup is nice. The cart originally only went 9mph so the boost up to 23mph is great. My two speed redesign is 16mph in torque mode and 23 mph in speed mode. I can't really tell much of a difference in take off power between the modes but that might be because I have stock sized low profile tires on it. I think if I had bigger tires I would be able to tell a bigger difference. I would recommend EMP to anyone with a stock series cart looking to get their cart a little faster than stock with not much money invested. If you are going to keep stock sized wheels on your cart I would recommend not going with the switchable redesign and just for the regular redesign.

Hope this helps.
