Default Club Car MCOR

I purchased a Brand New Club Car Precedent in May 2012. Since purchasing it I have had to take it back 3 times to have the MCOR replaced. Apparently CLUB CAR know of the problem and have redesigned it and made these available, however I live in Australia and they only release these in small amounts. My cart has to have another one replaced and I have to travel 280 kilometers (160 miles) to the dealer to get it done and I may not even get the new type. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE CARTS TO ANYONE. Most of my Golfing friends have E-Z-Go Cart and have no problems. I made an error in getting the Club Car

. . . there is an updated MCOR . . . Club Car is not the problem . . . your dealer is the problem for continually replacing the MCOR with one that will most likely fail again . . . hope they are not charging you . . .

I saw a comment/stat once that talked about the people who get on line to complain and those that get on line to say something nice. It was skewed way off in the direction of the first.

That being said, it does seem that the dealer would have addressed the problem early on. And I sure as heck would have bought a product where I can get easy service. He at least he admits he made an error but I think he is wrong. Everyone wants to blame someone else so fast these days.

I agree with Steve, it's the dealers fault. CC fixed the problem with a new version of the MCOR...

the dealership I work for replaces with the newer mcor and makes a **** ton of club car credit on the mcor3's cuz they are a warrantied part by club car (thank god) luckily, weve hit most clubs in our area, the mcor3 problem has started to trickle because of it. some dealerships just need to wise up!

Please explain to me how the problem has begun to trickle. Here in Augusta, we're sick and tired of replacing these things two and three times on the same vehicle. Has the new MCOR4 proven to be better for you? If so, congratulations, but don't keep your hopes up.

Steve, I'm sorry I'm gonna have to disagree with you. It's not the dealers fault these parts are garbage. They're doing as they're told to do, replace them.

well how long after replacement do you get the carts back?
all i can say is i see mcor4s come in and mcor3's go out lol.
its not my area of expertise but i don't hear of any problems. we replace fleets of up to 50 carts at a time and i haven't seen the same carts back in.
it may be a weather thing though as well because of our region. snowbirds coming back down (i live in florida) so we are hitting our season mark.
i agree with what you said to steve though

Sounds like CC needs to design a better MCOR...

There's no rhyme or reason to it. We've seen MCOR3s go out in a matter of hours, and we've seen them last months. Same with MCOR4s. We just replaced an entire course of MCOR3s with MCOR4s about a month ago. We've since been out there to replace about 10 of the MCOR4s.

That's the plan with the MCOR4.... but so far I'm not convinced.

I'd also like to point out that the original MCOR for the Precedent is still available. Part number 102528501. It's still a solid unit as far as I'm concerned. I go this route whenever possible.
