Default I Q won't go

I looked at a2002 I Q that is for sale by an elderly man and he said he towed the cart with his car some distance. He did not put it in tow before doing this. What is the most common damage that this would cause and how would I do some testing to figure it out.It is a real nice cart and he is open to offers.
Thanks,Tom

Turns out this cart is a 2000 regan with two solenoids and a rocker switch for the shifter and a two/run under the seat.
