And the charger from what I gather, won't kick in until it drops to 43 volts or so.
What am I missing?

Yes that drop is horrible in my opinion. 50 percent discharge after only 40mins of runtime? The charger should kick on always. If you fully charge and disconnect from the cart and plug it back in the charger should still kick on again.

40 mins 50% discharge for the 220s you can expect less out of the 195s

I'm with Steve. It's a steal.

But what I really want to know are two things:

How does Detroit Golf Club play into this thread? Did I miss the part where it described that's who sold it?

Secondly, if it WAS DCG who had it at $800, why didn't * I * jump on it? Lucky find!

I will post pics when i get to work on it.This cart is really really a nice cart.It was use by an old man ....who was chauffered around on A course that did not allow golf carts in 2002 . Then he died, and the cart went to his son ,or son-in-law, where it was put in a barn [good barn] with heat. The man that had it,sold it to me and told me this story. Is as close to perfect as you could get. Batteries just went dead and froze. And the man that sold it didn't want to invest in new batteries.
. I am really happy with it. I looked 3 or 4 months, before i found this one. bob s
