Speed setting 4 clarification
When I visited a local CC dealer he told me that to switch to speed setting 4 will take away torque. True or not??

Re: Speed setting 4 clarification
I had mine switched from speed 2 to speed 4 and the only difference I noticed was the increase in speed to 19-20 MPH

Re: Speed setting 4 clarification
. . . CC rates speed code 4 at 19.6 mph, assuming all components/batteries good . . .

Re: Speed setting 4 clarification
If you run 12 mph up hill with speed code 2 an you have speed code 4 programmed, the same hill you will slow to 12 mph. I guess you might be able to say you lost 7 mph going up that hill so you lost torque. You are not getting 100% of your max speed. I think you didn't gain any, but you still have what you had before. Who knows the extra speed might allow you to top the hill a little faster.

Re: Speed setting 4 clarification
The speed settings are governor settings. Nothing to do with speed or torque.
