Default 2010 precedent jerking after lift kit

Just Lifted My 2010 Precedent That I Bought About 2 Months Ago And Now It Is Jerking When Going Forward. It was Running Fine Before Installing The Lift. The Lift Kit Is An Allsport 6" Double A Arm With 23" Tires. This Is My Kids Christmas Present And Would Appreciate Any Help. P.s. I'm A Pretty Good Mechanic But New In The Golf Cart World.

You mean like bucking right when you hit the pedal? Does it run smooth once you get going?

Is it jerking like loosing power then getting it back, or jerking like wheels grabbing.

Check your brake cables if you just lifted it. Make sure they are not binding and putting on the brakes.

I have read that after doing lift kits on Precedents, sometimes the brake cable on the drivers side ends up too short or there is something called "axle twist", thus activating the brakes.

I read that your cart is lifted, and this is a common problem with lifted carts, the axle twists due to slight loosening of the U bolts and causes the brake cables to be stretched, therefore making the brakes lock up. The lifted carts section I believe has good reading on the subject.

If your lift kit only has 2 nuts per side this won't work for you. The only other option is to buy a passenger brake cable and use it on the drivers side since it is longer. Both of these we do when we do lift kit installs. More of the axle tip than the cable replacement since the tipping of the axle backward fixes the issue nearly every time. Your forward u bolts will have nearly twice the amount of thread hanging below the bolt. Hope this helps.

If You Press throttle Easy It Will Jerk/Buck Easy. medium throttle medium Jerk. Full Throttle Hard Jerk. The Jerking Will Happen Every Few Second When Under Full Throttle And Get Further Apart The Less You Press The Pedal. I took The Brake Cable Linkage Off At The Drum And Still The Same Jerking.

The Only Thing I Did Different Than What The Directions Stated Was Flipped The U-Bolts Up. I've Always Done This On Jeeps And Trucks So The Don't Hang down And Snag Stuff. It Also Looks A Whole Lot Cleaner Too. It Did Not Look Like It Caused An issue

It could be loose connection of one of your battery cables. I am talking all of them from battery to battery and on motor or controller ,or soloniod. I had a loose cable once on my soloniod, never made a spark just would loose connection long enough to make it feel like a tooth missing on a gear or something. Kind of like turning switch off then on. Might be worth checking.

I did find a couple of loose battery cables the other day. I've been thinking about replacing them with welding cable. maybe a little overkill but it should be alright right

Replacing the cables with welding cable would be fine. Be sure and check out the batteries. Having one battery drop out under load will cause the cart to "buck" as well.
