lifting an 86 club car ds 36v
I just bought a club car ds with the solonoid bank. I'm going to lift the cart with a spindle kit 6". I see on ebay where you can buy an 8 inch tire wheel package for a little less than a 10" package. Is there an advantage in buying 10" over 8" wheels. Also am I wasting my time. I would like to use this cart for riding around my hunt club.

Re: lifting an 86 club car ds 36v
The advantage to 10" wheels for a hunting cart is stability and ride. Also, most lift kits require 10" wheels, some you can get by with 8. I looked into this alot when building mine. You will find several posts here about this topic. The overwhelming consensus was go with 10" wheels. That said,I have seen some lift kits (maybe block kits or z-lift??) with only 8" wheels. I went with 10 because the lift kit I wanted was best with 10" and I can see my young'uns driving this cart. I wanted the extra stability for that reason.
