Exclamation Club car help!!!!!!

hello all, I am new to the golf cart world. I have just inherited a club car precedent 4 seater with a fold down seat on the back and I have no clue about them. Looking for some advice. The cart doesn't have a key with it and the charger that came with it doesn't work I don't think...... I need to see if the cart even works! The charger when plugged up and plugged into the cart doesn't show anything on the DC current meter. How can I see if my cart works? how can I make sure the OBC works and is not fried....etc any help would be great. OH also the batteries look in good shape and have a little current on the and are full of water but just cant tell if the cart is still good..... will the front light work with the switch off? help please thanks in advance

It's kind of hard to tell what is wrong by just looking at them. I suggest you go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy a volt meter. Measure the battery voltages and tell us what they are.

the batteries have around 8 volts on them but like I said there is no key so I either have to find it or get another key. I just want to see if it even works before I spend a lot of money on it. when my grandpa parked it, it was working but cant tell for sure

On key fits all. You can order one online. Or you can jumper across it. How long has it been parked?
