speed loss after 4 seconds
my 2004 regent cart goes to half speed after 4 or 5 seconds on the road.
It has new batteries and code 4 is installed |

Sounds like a speed sensor failure. Do a speed sensor test found above in the stickies. |

Thanks for the reply. The buzzer sounds when I push it in reverse but it will not sound when pushed forward, is the sensor located behind the dash?

Does the cart also resist moving while the buzzer sounds? The buzzer is behind the dash and the sensor is mounted to the end of the motor.
