Good deal? Royal Ride 82 $1500
Thinking of buying this. 82 club car, royal ride. $1500
Has 2 year old batteries and new brakes... How much would I be putting into this to fix it up? |

1500 to bring it up to date - if the batteries are good. That's a heavy old cart . What is your intended use?

Is it worth $1500? Or should I go lower?

Re: Good deal? Royal Ride 82 $1500
Agree with Scotty on the cost to upgrade it, but if cruising the neighborhood is your intent you may be able to leave it stock. I'd try to get it at around $1200 or somewhere close to that if it were me. Two year old batteries are probably okay if they've been taken care of correctly, and the mechanicals really all need to be working correctly and it ought to be in good condition cosmetically. You're mostly paying for the cool factor here - Royal Rides are just sweet looking!

Very cool!
There are a few guys on here who have done Royal Ride builds and I'm sure they'll help you out if you have questions. With that cool of a cart you should definitely start a build thread with pics of it in the Member's Rides section! |
