Default Over filled battery

I was filling my betteries with a new hand held betttery filler i bought and it filled one the cells almost to the top guess i wasnt holding it tight enough. What could happen if it get filled to high?? Is it harmful to the battery??

If you have one of those turkey baster type fillers, take some of the water off before you drive it around and put the water on another cell. It takes a while before the electrolite fully mixes and the water needs to be below the fill mark or you may loose electolite the next time your charge.

I talked to the guys from Trojan and they say to never overfill,stay just below plastic,charge batteries then fill

That is what you should expect your filler bottle to do, that is their favoritest thing Ever.... I dont reccomend those bottles for that reason. If the wifey isnt too keen on you putting acid in her turkey baster, you can make your own remover with a sturdy plastic bottle like V8 or gatorade and a straw from a aerosol can. Drill a slightly smaller hole in the cap and stuff the straw in. Since the bottle has stiff walls, squeezing it then putting the straw in the acid will draw excess acid out (a little slow, but free and available).
