Default Motor in water

With using my cart for hunting and some off roading. So therefore i will be going through mud and water. Does the water being on the motor affect the motor? Is it bad for the motor or cat? And if i go through mud as long as i wash it when i get back what could be harmed?? Thanks

Lol I dont think thats going to keep any water out

Alot of people use their cart for hunting. It is not wise to submerge the motor though.

I use a pressure washer (1550 psi) on carts all the time to wash so as long as you aren't driving through lakes you should be fine

I've seen one that covers up most of the vitals under the cart. Can't remember where. This was the first one I came across. Posted it to give him an idea. Might as well be proactive and keep the water out in the first place. How many post are on here that say "I washed my cart now it won't run" 99 times out of 100 you'll be OK, It's that 1 time of a hundred that will get you.
