Get more speed for Club Car Precedent
I know guys are always interested in speeding up their carts and that can be expensive. I will share my experiences using Plum Quick motors. On a 2007 Precedent with stock everything cart 16 mph. I replaced the motor with the Plum Quick Executioner and replaced the battery cables with 4 awg cables. After cart had slightly better low end and torque and top speed when to 30 mph. Not bad for expense of about $700.
On my current 2011 Precedent I sent the stock motor out of the first cart to Robbie at Plum Quick to rebuild into their Bandit motor. The cart had speed code 4 and was a 19 mph cart. After installation 27 mph with better low end and better torque. Worth the $225 + shipping in my book. I know their are lots of ways to achieve more speed I just wanted to share my experiences |

Stock controller, just a motor swap. Took about 30 minutes.

Re: Get more speed for Club Car Precedent
Never seen 27 mph on just a bandit. If I thought I could get that speed out of just a bandit they wouldn't be able to keep up with my orders

Re: Get more speed for Club Car Precedent
I get 27 and 28 mph out of my Bandit. Stock controller and 2 ga cables. I have 20.5" tires also. Attached is a screen shot of my speedometer app from my phone. Top speed is over 28 mph. This is along the beach road, so it is about as flat as you can get.

Re: Get more speed for Club Car Precedent
My uncle lives in Miramar. That's crazy, I think the most I've seen out of a bandit on a DS IQ or Precedent with stock everything was 19-20. Don't get me wrong I am more than pleased with my PQ experiences/ service/ product I have just not seen those types of increases. I don't thing those results are common?

Re: Get more speed for Club Car Precedent
I have not messed with the motor, controllers,, etc that some of y'all have, but with all I have read I believe it would be right hard to reach that speed with just a motor and wheel size change. More would have to be done to power the motor to turn the bigger wheels.
