Default 2007 CC DS 48 Volt

Looking to do a build on this cart any ideas would be appreciated.

6-8" lift
23-25" tires
Rear seat kit

What would be the best to keep torque and speed

It has 4-12v batteries now but they are on the way out.

thanks

I would say convert it to run on 6-8volt batteries (longer run time and battery life). If you wanted to upgrade speed and torque, take a look at PlumQuick motor upgrades. http://www.plumquick.com/

Go 8 -6 volt batteries for maximum run time with long travel front end
If it can fit

^^What they said, plus talk to Scottyb about cables and a controller, give him the specs that you're going to build your cart to and tell him what you want out of it performance wise, and he can hook you up.

There is a kit out there you can buy to swap the battery configuration on CC so they will fit correctly unless you can weld aluminum? I have never seen it but have talked to dealers who have installed it.

. . . from CC, it ain't cheap . . and it is just a few nuts/bolts and aluminum angle pieces and cables. . . seen one my local CC dealer was trying to "clearance" out for about $100 or so because someone ordered it and never picked it up . . I believe it retails around $200 or so . . . Tahoe would probably have an idea of price . .

. . here's one on eBay:

So once I fit the extra 2 batteries and add a couple of cables, is there anything I need to know or what I don't need to do?

Also mine is a 2007 is it a IQ cart? And does it have the braking on it?
