Default Where to start on total modification?

I just bought a 2003 CC Pathway and my objective is to add a rear seat; lift it; install new wheels and tires; new batteries; paint it or wrap it; fix the non-working but factory installed directional signals, windshield wipers and brake lights; add some splashy looking accessories; and maximize its speed which I understand is around 20+mph so I'm not sure if I need to change any controllers or the motor or anything else as a result of putting on larger tires.

So, my question is this: where do I start? Is there a logical order of projects? Thanks all for any advice!

Seriously. That will dip into a purse. You must enjoy modifying things as much as I.

HD springs for. No reason to put the seat back there until you do so. Sag.

Other than that, start reading the threads here. Will give you a good direction to go in.

Many thanks RPatten. The cart only has 10 hours on it and I'm into it for less than a grand so far, so I don't mind opening the purse to get it finished. And you are right, I do look for opportunities to get out in my garage - so I'm looking forward to this project! Will do the HD springs when I do the lift install - before the rear seat - so I appreciate the tip. BTW, what's the difference in member ratings of not yet wild yet v wild?

Ratings are by post count, the first post in this thread describes them:

Of course if you donate a significant amount they may boost you up. I actually have no idea of such but it helps with SC politics.

Logical order to upgrade cart
: how old are your batts ? If they are past 4 years old , upgrade to 48 volt , get new solenoid , controller , new batts with max amp / hr rating and larger tires with 6 inch lift and 22 inch tires on 10 or 12 inch rim
That's a good start
Cheers!

The batteries are 10 years old. I just ordered some t-875s as I've read on other threads those are the preferred bats for a Pathway. When I first got the cart the bats were totally dead. No water in them either. To test the cart, I added some water, manually charged them until the cc power drive charger was able to take over. On my first test ride, my guess is that I was hitting close to 20mph. So . . . I'll be eager to see how it goes with the new bats!
